Apartment Tuckhaus is a 46m² one bedroom modern apartment situated in an elevated position only seconds away from the 8-Jet 1.5 km long floodlit piste and was built in the 2007-8 season.

Flachau, along with other local areas, host world cup events and is the home-town of skiing legend, Hermann Maier, winner of many world cup races and Olympic medals.

Flachau is the starting point to 3 ski links, and is ideally placed to access the ski area Sportwelt, making up 450kms of piste. The area is equipped with the most modern lifts, such as the Achter Jet 8 seat cable car which starts at the bottom of the adjacent piste.

Flachau is easily placed for access to many other ski areas and areas of interest such as Salzburg home of the composer Mozart and The Sound of Music was filmed around Salzburg.

Of course, skiing and snowboarding is the main reason why tourists come to Austria in the winter; some of the finest ski areas of the Alps can be found in the South of the Salzburg Province.

You can also sleigh ride, sledge, toboggan ,cross-country ski, snowshoeing, curling, ice-skating and many more activites.
